IPL 2026 Fantasy Cricket Points System — LuckX Sports
Know exactly how many points each action is worth before you pick your IPL fantasy team. Captain multipliers can double your score.
Batting Points
- 1 point per run
- 1 point per boundary (4s)
- 2 points per six
- 8 points for half-century
- 16 points for century
- -2 points for duck (batsmen only)
Bowling Points
- 25 points per wicket
- 8 points bonus for 3-wicket haul
- 16 points bonus for 5-wicket haul
- 1 point per dot ball
- Economy bonus: under 5 RPO = +3 points
Fielding Points
- 8 points per catch
- 12 points per stumping
- 6 points per direct run-out
- 3 points per run-out (throw)
Captain Multipliers
- Captain: 2x on all points
- Vice-Captain: 1.5x on all points
IPL example: If your captain is an all-rounder who scores 45 runs and takes 2 wickets, they earn (45 + 50) × 2 = 190 points.
T20 bonuses that swing IPL rank
IPL scoring on LuckX still follows real actions: runs, wickets, catches, and a duck penalty for batters. Strike-rate and economy bonuses matter more in T20 than in longer formats.
Captain 2x on a death bowler can outscore a quiet top-order name. Read the contest scoring note before lock; do not assume every room uses the same extras.
How to use this table before you pick captain
Read batting and bowling rows together. A thirty that includes two sixes is not the same as a thirty of singles, because boundary extras stack. A three-wicket spell with a maiden can outscore that thirty once captain 2x is applied.
Duck penalty is small until it sits on the captain. If the opener’s role is unclear after toss, do not force 2x onto that name. Move captain to a bowler who will definitely bowl four overs.
Fielding extras are real but noisy. Do not rebuild an XI around catch luck. Build around minutes on the field, then let catches be surplus.
