- Build your team. Pick 11 players from both squads. Include top-order batsmen, wicket-taking bowlers, and all-rounders.
- Assign captain and vice-captain. Captain gets 2x points, vice-captain gets 1.5x. Pick players who bat high and bowl in key overs.
- Join a contest. Enter from ₹1 practice to mega contests with larger prize pools.
IPL-specific tips
- Check the venue. Some grounds favor batsmen (Chinnaswamy), others favor spinners (Chepauk). Adjust your team accordingly.
- Watch for double-headers. Two matches in one day means two chances to join contests.
- Pick in-form players. IPL form changes fast. Check the last 3 matches, not career averages.
- All-rounders are key. Players who bat and bowl give you points from both — ideal for captain picks.
The IPL lock window is shorter than it looks
On IPL nights the useful work is after toss: confirmed XI, then C/VC, then a contest you can watch. Building the team at noon and never returning is how bench players sneak into paid rooms.
