How to Play Fantasy Cricket on LuckX Sports
Four steps between you and your first contest entry. No tutorials needed — just pick a match, build a team, assign roles, and join.
Step-by-step: from match to contest
- Select a match. Choose from live or upcoming cricket fixtures on LuckX Sports.
- Create your team. Pick 11 players from both squads. Balance batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders, and a wicket-keeper.
- Assign captain and vice-captain. Captain earns 2x points, vice-captain earns 1.5x. Pick your two strongest performers.
- Join a contest. Enter from ₹1 for practice or go for mega contests with larger prize pools.
Choose the right match
Pick fixtures where player roles are clear and batting order is predictable. IPL matches have the most contest options and player data.
Build a balanced team
Include 2-3 all-rounders for dual-point potential. Don’t stack only batsmen — bowlers who take wickets in the death overs often score more than middle-order batsmen.
Use captain slots wisely
Captain gets 2x and vice-captain gets 1.5x. Pick a top-order batsman or a wicket-taking bowler as captain — they have the most scoring opportunities.
A slower first session than the four-step list
This page is the patient version of how to play. Spend the extra minute on role balance: a death bowler and an all-rounder often outscore a sixth batter who faces four balls.
Captain should be someone who will be on the field for a long spell — an opener, or a bowler used at the death. Vice-captain is a good place for dual points. Change both until lock if toss news lands late.
When the XI is still a rumour, leave the paid room empty. Practice contests exist so you can learn the clock without paying for a guess.
